Gallowbridge Limited is an independent consultancy established in 2008 specialising in the provision of Energy Performance Certificates for Commercial, Retail and Industrial buildings.

Having been involved in the property industry for over 20 years, strong links have been developed with clients resulting in a business based upon reputation, reliability, excellent service and value for money.

Gallowbridge provides a personal service with the survey and Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) being produced by a qualified Assessor.  Our Assessors are qualified  with a Level 4 Diploma in Non Domestic Energy Assessment and are members of the Building Research Establishment  approved Accreditation Scheme. This means that all buildings falling into Level 3 and 4 (as definded by Goverment Guidance - see FAQ) can be assessed by Gallowbridge, thus covering approx 95% of all Commercial, Retail and Industrial Buildings. 

Why do we need an Energy Performance Certificate?
From October 2008, sellers and landlords have been required by law to provide an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for buildings or parts of buildings when they are sold or rented. Furthermore, the certificate is required at the point of marketing, not the point of sale (see FAQ and CLG guidance for clarification).

Failing to comply with the regulations could result in Trading Standards Officers having the ability to levy fines of up to £5000.
